18th September 2019

Im still feeling no better. Normally on a Wednesday Rachel comes round and we had planned on empting the garage since dad had been round over the weekend and removed most of his stuff. Rachel text me this morning, though to tell me she wasn’t going to be over. I decided that it meant it was the perfect opportunity to just lay on the sofa and die.

Daly did his usual of disappearing off to do various jobs but I didn’t mind. I ended up dozing on and off on the sofa while Bella played. She decided as mummy was feeling ill this morning she was going to play doctors.

She went and found her little doctors bag and laid it out next to me. Now worryingly for some reason Bella has a toy gun in her doctors set. Now my old doctor said there was so much wrong with me we might be better off just putting me down and it looks like Bella has the same idea.

However while we were playing she never reached for the gun, I obviously wasn’t too poorly. She checked my temperature, my throat, she looked in my eyes and made sure my heart beat was alright. Once she’d finished all her checks, she gave me a plaster and some medicine – apparently I had hurt my hand so needed the plaster.

Once she’d finished looking after me it was my turn to look after Bella. She pretty much talked me through the whole thing. Telling me which equipment I needed next and how to use each piece.

I finished looking Bella over, giving her the pretend medicine, she wanted to look after me again. I had a feeling it was going to be a long morning of looking after each other so I encouraged her that she needed to look after baby as she was feeling poorly. That seemed to work out well.

Once again I dozed on and off the rest of the day while Bella quietly played. Soon it was time to cook dinner.

While I was cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen Daly went on a bit of a cleaning spree himself. He decided he needed to completely clean the living room and even managed to persuade Bella to help out.

Normally she is terrified of the hoover but today Daly managed to get her to use the hoover to clean the carpet. Annoyingly the main sucktion bit of the hoover doesn’t work so we have to hoover every bit of the carpet using the little nozzle but it’s easier for Bella to use.

After dinner we went out to do a bit of shopping. I thought it would be good for Bella and I to get out of the house. Especially me as although I don’t really like going out, I was starting to get a bit of cabin fever and thought Bella could do with the fresh air.

Wr headed off to ASDA and picked up a few bits. Bella kept running after Daly, trying to keep up with him. She did keep falling over though on the slippy ground. I think towards the end she was falling down on purpose but it was so cute watching the pair of them together.

When we got to the checkouts Bella starting to play hide and seek, hiding under the conveyer in the cubby the bags are normally kept, although since the government have started charging for plastic bags ASDA never seems to have any. She tried to jump out but managed to bang her head on the top of it. Luckily it wasn’t a big bump, she didn’t seem too fussed.

We made our way home from ASDA and then Bella and I headed for bed. Going out did seem to do a little bit of good but I certainly am not 100% yet.

Anyways, night all and let’s see what adventures tomorrow holds for us.

Love CiCi x
