Sick Day – 22nd March 2019

Daly was off work today. When he woke up he couldn’t see out of his left eye. The abscess had made his face swell that much. I teased him I told him I’d married Quasimodo. He wasn’t too impressed with that. He cuddled for a bit and then ran away to the other room to sleep.

Bella and I woke up and got started with our day. Normally we go swimming on a Friday but for some reason I’ve been exhausted this week and haven’t really had the energy to do anything so we didn’t go swimming. Daly was still in bed looking all puffy but a little better than when he’d woken me a 4.

Bella and I went downstairs to play and get ready for a day at Grandma and Grandads. Bella played with her horse balloon that Zach had bought her at the circus. She even tried to ride it.

We set off to see them. I was planning on dropping and running but instead I stayed for lunch and a cuppa. I mean I will never turn down a cup of tea.

When I got home Daly had managed to drag himself downstairs and was now dying on the sofa while playing on the PlayStation. He could now open his eye and the swelling was still there but getting better every time I saw him.

That was pretty much how the rest of the day went. Nothing exciting really happened. Daly played his game and I watched TV until I went to go pick up Bella from Daly’s parents after dinner.

Not a very intesting or long day and a very short blog but every now and then we have these chilled days and I still want to record those days even if they don’t make an interesting read.

Anyways let’s see what adventure tomorrow holds for us

Love CiCi
